This article describes how to create an ICA Shortcut presentation folder as the default folder when a user logs in.

  • A working Web Interface site created and configured.

  • A shortcut presentation folder that corresponds to the following folder replaced in the YourFolderNameHere placeholder.

  • If the default installation of a Web Interface site is modified from c:inetpubwwwrootCitrixXenApp, revert to default.

To function as expected, the site must have the following options disabled:

  2. In Edit Settings, click Web site appearance.

  3. Click Layout in the dialog box that appears.

  4. Click Display Settings. The Display Settings options appear.

  3. Find the following section:

    // Sets up the current folder (if not already set) by reading from the session or user preferences.

  4. Add the following lines after currentFolder = getCurrentFolderFromSession(web);

  5. Replace YourFolderNameHere with the folder you want to make the default.
    After the addition the section must look like this: Webscraper 4 10 2 download free.

  6. Close the file and save the changes when prompted.
    Also, ensure to close the Web Interface Management Console.

  7. Open command prompt as administrator and run an iisreset.

Version 5.4.6 addresses a number of issues, including problems saving attachments in Apple Mail.

If you already bought Version 5, this update is free.

If you are upgrading from version 4, this may be a paid upgrade for you.

If you have a Default Folder X license purchased before June 1, 2015, there is a $14.95 upgrade fee for this version. If you purchased on or after June 1, 2015, your upgrade is free and your existing serial number will work in version 5.1.

What's new in version 5.4.6

  • There's a new Quick Start panel that's displayed the first time you run Default Folder X or if you choose 'Quick Start' from its menu in the menu bar.
  • In its menus, Default Folder X now merges the contents of the /Applications and /System/Applications folders when running on Catalina. This makes them consistent with the Finder.
  • Default Folder X's Finder window drawer will correctly open when clicking on the Finder's icon in the Dock to bring the Finder to the front.
  • The preference 'Open & Save > When opening a folder in the Finder switch to the Finder / stay in the file dialog' did not work correctly. This has been fixed.
  • The preference 'Menus > Sort submenus by Name / Date' wasn't correctly disabled when 'Show the contents of folders using submenus' was turned off.
  • Corrected a problem that could cause Default Folder X's bezel around a file dialog to disappear if the file dialog was quickly switched to the background and then back to the foreground.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the 'Save all attachments' dialog in Apple Mail to get stuck.
